Advancements in Neurotechnology:-
Science is making progress day by day, and the man is trying to shift its all tasks to computers in order to complete those tasks with more efficiency and accuracy. Neurotechnology is a vast field of technology in which scientists are trying to implant modern technology into the brains of living things to make them capable of completing tasks by their wills. The brain-computer linking interfaces will totally change the way people think and work; it will innovate many fields. Most importantly, this technique is being used to treat Alzheimer’s disease. The other major task is to brainwash soldiers for fights with the help of these computer-operated minds. But all of us are unaware of the ethical ramifications of these advancements in Neurotechnology. No doubt, scientists have made great achievements in this field also, now they are succeeded in implanting a mini-computer into the brain of a pig.
Future moral concerns:-
The man has made very much advances in Neurotechnology, and all the tasks are now shifted to machines. But it increased the moral questions related to ethical concerns. Either man will control these machines or machines will work on their own. Mr. Valeriani said that we should allow humans to decide about these machines’ moral concerns if they are willing to enhance their capabilities. On the other side, Neuroethicists are preparing pieces of advice to give policymakers about these machines’ regulations. If these machines prove more beneficial, we must go for them, and science should create innovations to make tasks more easy and efficient.

Mr. Elon Musk is the present Chief Executive of Tesla and SpaceX, said that scientists are trying to enhance the physical abilities of living things to cope with the needs of the time. Soon there will be a merge of biological intelligence with artificial intelligence, it will surely help us to improve our economy as well.
Formation of Neuralink:-
Neuralink is an American Neurotechnology company, founded by Elon Musk, to develop ultra-high bandwidth brain-machine interfaces in order to connect computers to brains. A technology, namely “Neural lace,” was used to connect computers directly to human brains. Many tiny electrodes were implanted into the human brain for computed processes. However, the brain-computer interface (BCI) is not any new idea, and it was already proposed to the world of Neurotechnology earlier. The Elon Musk did successful experiments to connect computers directly to the brains, and he conducted his experiment on a pig’s brain. Elon Musk succeeded in his experiment of the brain-computer interface and presented a pig in a live event to prove his success. He said that the pig was a healthy and happy female at that time, having high energy. He presented it as a start-up for his Neuralink neuroscience technology. The minicomputer was about the size of a coin, and it was implanted into the skull of a pig connecting with tiny wires to make a neuro-connection. He claimed that he will now control paralyzed brains with the help of a wireless brain-computer interface by operating them through a mouse. It can revolutionize the whole neurological conditions in coming future.
Another outstanding achievement of Neuralink:-
In 2016, Elon Musk, with his team, invented a new device that was implanted with tiny electrodes and was intended to fit behind the ear. This device makes a direct connection to the brain, then controlled remotely. It was a small machine indeed, very easy to install in the brain just by the operation of a surgical robot under the application of local anesthesia. Musk Elon said that it is a removable device. As he experimented with it on another pig, he named that pig as Dorothy. Dorothy has implanted that machine and then removed it successfully. However, there was no change in the behavior of Dorothy at both times.
Applications of brain-computer interfaces:-
These wireless brain-computer interfaces are incredible innovations in the technology field. However, these have a vast range of advantages in practical life. As Elon Musk said that such interfaces would surely help humans to compete with artificial intelligence to make more and more progress in the medical field. Moreover, Musk Elon claimed that these would help us potentially in our daily tasks, such as playing video games, summoning a Tesla, or walking again of a severely injured spinal cord. Small wireless interfaces can be used to minimize hearing losses as well. On the brighter side, these can be used to treat Parkinson’s disease. The persons facing strokes can improve their brain conditions if they get these computer interfaces surgically. Moreover, physically damaged limbs can be replaced by these robotic limbs controlled by computer interfaces.
Musk Elon did not present any scientific data to support his brain-computer interface implantation in a pig in that live event. However, he raised funds of $100m by himself for these experiments. While Neuralink raised funds of more than $150 to make these experiments successful. Now the Neuralink is making plans to regulate these products’ production to make them available in the local market. A Professor of the University of Toronto Neuroscience Research department, Mr. Graeme Maffot, said that we would be happy to see the actual scientific data collected from the device which was implanted Ainto the brain. However, trials are under supervision to make better conclusions.
